James Suckling has just published the list of the “100 Best Spanish Wines of 2019”, where he positively values ??our Single Plot Wines project, including three of them among the twenty best.
We are very grateful and satisfied with these news, with special mention for our Family Vineyard, VIÑA EL PISON, which reaches an important place within the top positions.
This recognition is extended to the vineyards of Poza de Ballesteros and Quintanilla, which are also placed among the top 20:
Nº 2 – VIÑA EL PISON 2016: 100 points. “The purity of fruit to this is really something else. I am not sure I have tasted a young Spanish wine with such purity. The fruit and tannin texture to this is impecable. You have to drink it now. But it will age forever.”
Nº 9 – ARTADI La Poza de Ballesteros 2016 también roza la perfección con 99 puntos. “Full body. Powerful and very structured. The length and power are so impressive.”
Nº 16 – ARTADI Quintanilla 2016 con 98 puntos. “Dense and layered, tightly focused and composed. Goes on for minutes. Wonderful now, but one for the future.”
The taster remarks the purity of the fruit in all our wines as well as their balance, complexity, depth and ageing potential.
