Artadi with a near-perfect Viña El Pisón 2016 obtaining 99 points with an exclusive report in the latest The Wine Advocate issue

The Wine Advocate – Robert Parker, one of the most reputable publications in the world, has just published a detailed monograph about the ARTADI group in its latest issue of February 2019.

Luis Gutierrez, taster for the Spanish wines, has written a report about our winery announcing and explaining our new wines and vintages that will land in the market in the upcoming months, as he exclusively did for Vega Sicilia.

We are very pleased that the influent publication wanted to elaborate this article where all subscribers get an insight on ARTADI´s new project.

The new Single Plot Wines have catched his attention, especially San Lazaro, a plot of 1.62 hectares planted in 1956, which has scored 96 points and has been described as “a serious vineyard that is going to be high up in the Artadi hierarchy, with the finesse provided by the sandy soils, keeping good freshness in a warmer vintage. In short, San Lázaro is phenomenal, my favourite among the new labels and third in the hierarchy after Viña El Pisón (99 points) and ARTADI El Carretil (97 points). And let's see if it doesn't challenge El Carretil with its gobsmacking balance after all…”

News from Artadi and Single Plot Wines are completed with ARTADI Quintanilla (93+) and the new exclusive wines of ARTADI Collectors – Wine Club. These three wines are of very limited production: ARTADI San Martín 640 bottles and ARTADI La Laguna 700 bottles, that can be accessed exclusively by members of this Collectors Club.

Great ranking for ARTAZU our winery in Navara where Grenache is the key player. Our wine, ARTAZU Santa Cruz de Artazu has achieved 94+ points. A distinction that elevates this wine to be among the highest in our range.
