Decanter, one of the most relevant wine magazines has published in March issue a special article about the 50 top Riojas. Our wine Viña El Pisón has obtained 99 points and has been chosen as the best option with 99 points.
This extensive article is written by Tim Atkin and Sarah Jane Evens, both Masters of wine and renowned wine journalists.
In Atkin’s words, Viña El Pisón is always one of Rioja`s – indeed Spain’s – best wines. Also he mention its origin, a 2.4 single vineyard in Laguardia, Alava, planted in 1945.
Since 2009 vintage ARTADI winery has released three new single vineyards wines from its exceptional plots around Laguardia ARTADI El Carretil, ARTADI La Poza de Ballesteros and ARTADI Valdeginés.
