Robert Parker, considered as one of the most influential wine critic around the world, enjoyed a great lunch with Chef Jose Andrés in his restaurant in Washington. This event took place last year but we are today, very happy to share with you all, the nicest words about our most popular and international single vineyard wine, VIÑA EL PISÓN. Among all tasted wines, this one was the top one. He highlighted it with these words:

"This may have been one of the greatest lunches (all six hours of it) that I have ever experienced……The reds came in various flights, and as you can see from my scores, most showed well, but the real knock-out flight was the mini-vertical of Artadi's Viña El Pison. The 2004, 2009 and 2010 were just out of this world – great, young, densely packed, concentrated Riojas with terrific flavor, definition, intensity and complexity."

This wine has the honour to have got the highly-regarded 100 Parker Points with the vintage 2004. This wine was born as a tribute to Juan Carlos López de Lacalle’s Grandfather. Since the beginning it has been recognized by critics and wine lovers as one of the Greatest Wines in our country.
An extraordinary vineyard planted in 1945 that produce an extraordinary wine. A wine to lay down and to enjoy time’s magic.
